Ceri Thomas
IMMERSV founder, Ceri Thomas, has spent more than 20 years working with and around some of the best creative talent in the world across experience in Film, Television, Live Broadcast, Virtual Reality and Music; he has been a trusted partner of Oscar, Emmy and Grammy winners, as well as many of the world's biggest brands, outlets and studios.
IMMERSV brings the highlights and benefits of those decades of experience to the ever-changing world of immersive technologies, an area that Ceri has already had more than a hand in shaping.
Ceri has also informed product development from his earliest days in the media industry as digital workflows for sound editorial were being adopted and developed, through Technical Achievement-awarded products recognized by, amongst others, the Film Academy, TV Academy, CAS, and MPSE.
He defined standards for creation in Dolby Atmos for VR and then Music, where he also developed training and studio standards for the world’s biggest music studios and mixers. He joined Apple Music and pushed for higher quality in all aspects of Spatial that he touched, including the foundation of Spatial Audio QC.
He founded IMMERSV to further his belief that authenticity should drive and define an immersive experience, and to help inspire the media industry to build big things that free creativity.
Brian Rio
Brian Rio, a 25-year veteran of the Media and Technology industries, has produced and supported premium content and technology for beloved brands on a global scale. A multiple National Emmy, International New York Festival, and Promax winner, he has held roles ranging from creative to executive, focusing on uplifting the people and industries around him.
With roots in music composition and sound design, he expanded his expertise to include production, post-production, content, technology strategy, and human-centric leadership. After a meaningful tenure at Turner Broadcasting, Time Warner, WarnerMedia, and Warner Bros. Discovery, he began consulting independently in 2024 to foster innovation in creativity and technology across multiple organizations, with an emphasis on profound priorities such as sustainability, accessibility, and inclusivity.
In early 2026, after years of collaboration with Ceri across multiple companies, Brian found deep alignment with IMMERSV's values, priorities, and philosophy and joined the team as a consultant.
